Today in 5th grade we...
- Wrote our final Q3 vocabulary test.
- Had a chance to witness history when we went outside to take a look at the partial solar eclipse this morning at 9:15.
- Discussed the Language final project, and the rubrics.
- Relaxed our minds after a week and a half of studying for exams/writing exams by playing sports outside in the nice weather.
Homework:
- Work on language project for 30 - 45 minutes.
Extras:
- Tomorrow we will be taking our individual yearbook pictures, as well as our graduation pictures. Please have your child come to school in their cleanest, most properly fitting uniform. Girls should wear their dress if it is warm enough outside.
- This week and next week student council will be selling movie tickets at lunch to raise money for our next community development day. They can pay 70nt which will give them a drink, a snack, and a ticket to the movie which will be playing in the afternoon of March 30th.
- Please return elective forms by March 14th.
- Tomorrow and Friday we will be completing some ITBS practice tests so that the students will be well prepared for next week. The actual testing will be taking place on March 15th - 18th. You should note that these tests do not require studying, and the results will not affect your child's grade. They are purely for the school to measure how we are doing, and where we need improvement. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions about that ITBS tests.
