- Practiced science exhibition, presented science exhibition to judges, and presented science exhibition to friends and family....SO MUCH SCIENCE EXHIBITION!!!! 

Congratulations to all the students for working hard and completing their first science exhibition research paper. I am so proud of every one of you.

- Learned how to separate our novel into chapters, and continued writing.

- Wrote our chapter 16 math test. 

- Started creating Greek vases with Papier-mâché. 

- Conducted a science experiment that will show chemical changes. 

- Practiced presenting our science exhibition boards.

- Checked out the 1st - 3rd grade science experiments.

Extras:

- Please join us tomorrow between 2:30 and 3:15 to see Grades 4 - 7 present their science projects. Then again at 3:15 - 4:00 to watch the awards ceremony. There will be 2 winners from each grade. The students have worked very hard on their projects, and would really appreciate the support from their parents. 

- Please wear PE uniform in the morning, but bring your proper uniform to change into during lunch so that you like presentable for science presentations and pictures.

- Followed our pacing guide for our novel writing, and kept working on our stamina. 

- Discussed how the plot has thickened in our assigned novels during our book club meeting. 

- Observed physical and chemical changes by writing secret messages on a variety of different kinds of papers with difference substances.

Math - Study for Chapter 16 test tomorrow 
Science - Finish preparing your presentation plan/script for the science fair in order to be ready for practice presentations tomorrow.

- Learned how the radius, the diameter, and the circumference of a circle are related, and how to calculate them. 

- Finished learning about Greek mythology and literature from our awesome student teacher Benjamin Hung.

- Compared and contrasted mixtures and solutions, and how to separate a mixture.
