- Learned new vocabulary words that will help us to complete the rest of our vocabulary workbook. 

- Started our unit on algebraic expressions. 

- Continued to discuss how to conduct investigations. 

Homework: 
Language - Vocabulary p. 5 - 6 (including Writing Extended Responses) 
Math - Workbook p. 8 

Coming up next week:
- Science test on lessons 1 - 3 on Wednesday 8/26
- Social Studies tests on chapter 1 next Tuesday 8/25
