Today in 5th grade we...

- Continued writing our descriptive paragraph according to the rubric and guidelines provided. 

- Learned about the geography of ancient Kush, and how it was connected to ancient Egypt. 

- Practiced subtracting fractions with like denominators. 

- Explored the life of Cleopatra. 

- Planned our secret Santa gift exchange.

- For our Secret Santa gift exchange each student needs to buy a gift and wrap it for the one student whose name they picked from the bag. They decided they would like the minimum to be 300nt and the maximum 500nt. Please let me know if there are any issues with this. 
- Please make sure that you get the tuition slip from your child and return it to the school.
