Today in 5th grade we...

- Thought of good describing words that can replace our "dead words". 

- Learned and used new vocabulary from our Journeys stories.

- Discovered how cave drawings and paintings we made many years ago, and then tried our best to see what cave drawing would be like by creating our own in the dark, use the underside of our desk as "a cave". 

- Explored scientific tools, how they are used, and what measurements they assist us with. 

Homework:
Language - Finish coming up with interesting describers (10 for each category) 
Science - Read p. 50 - 51 and complete p. 53 - 54
Social Studies - Work on study guide (Due Sept. 3rd)
