Today in 5th grade we...
- Learned new words about amounts, large and small.
- Read a story that helped us understand how different people can interpret stories differently based on their own knowledge and interests.
- Explored the divisibility rules of numbers 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 9, and 10.
- Finished discussing the parts of the body, and how they work together top give us life.
Homework:
Language - Vocabulary lesson 5
- Fix spelling test mistakes and get it signed
Science - Textbook p. 151 -152
Reading - RRJ: Read for at least 30 minutes and then answer the given question in at least 1 page.
"Would you like to be a character in this story? Why or why not?"
Math - Workbook p. 25
Exams:
As most of you already know, this year's exam schedule will be set up a little differently. All minor and major subject exams will take place in 1 week (Sept 29th - October 5th), and every day will be a full day of school. Here is a schedule I have set up for the students to make sure they have enough study time, but also have time for breaks to rest their mind. Let me know if you have any input on any changes that need to be made. We will see how this goes Quarter 1, and adjust it if needed for the following quarters.
